A tincture of yellow dock, 1/4–1/2 teaspoon (1–2 ml) three times per day, can be used.2 Alternatively, a tea can be made by boiling 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 grams) of root in 2 cups (500 ml) of water for ten minutes. Three cups (750 ml) may be drunk each day.
Dosages traditionally used include 2 to 4 tablespoons of the fresh root, or 2 to 4 g of the dry root in a tea 3 times a day for no longer than 8 to 10 days.

You pretty much make it like any other herbal tea……..we steep ours for 3 to 4 min., and drink it plain. Suppose you could add sweetener if you so desired.
